Where are you related to your fitness goals?
And where are your going?
We've passed the half way point of the year, so now is a good time to evaluate where you are at.
Is your system of training working?

You are in charge, and no one else is going to do this for you.
New, Free Workouts Start July 8
So I came home the other morning only to find this little guy stuck and crying on our roof.
We already have 2 adult cats and a dog, but my wife fell in love the little guy so one more pet!
Just a few quick things before you go off to celebrate the 4th of July.
Yesterday I sent you an email about my friend Craig's ab program.
When I send out a notice of someone else's program I am showing you something that I have personally used and I know it works. When I get off my butt and actually develop a fitness product I hope that you'll give it a good look too. In the meantime, I encourage you to check out Craig's ab program.
If you need quality fitness equipment, then I have a huge coupon for you. How about $50 off, when you buy $150 worth of fitness stuff. The coupon is from Power Systems which is a company that I buy from and trust. You'll need this code 08970, and the website is here.
Lastly, I realize that the economy has been hitting some of you quite hard and I want to help. I don't want the economy to get in the way of you being lean and healthy.
Beginning Monday the 8th I will be posting free fat burning workouts on my personal site: www.stephencoopertraining.com.
We'll begin with training on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday plan. On the "off" days, I be posting tips on nutrition, stretching, and whatever else it takes to help you lose the fat and feel awesome.
These will be similar workouts that I use with my clients. They will be workouts specifically designed to burn fat, tone, and get lean. You should be able to complete the workouts in 30 minutes or less. You'll need minimal equipment, and best of all they can be done from home.
My hope is that you won't have any excuse not to get in shape. I also hope that when you do the workouts, you'll share your experiences with others on my site.
Tell your friends what you are doing, and encourage them to "compete" online with you.
If you have any suggestions to make the experience better I am all ears.
Have a great fourth, and see you Monday!
What Matters Most To You?
I'm waiting...
The top picture was from our recent trip to San Francisco. We spent a few days doing the typical tourist stuff, and had a great time.
In taking some time off work I realized how hectic my schedule had become. I was waking up at 4 or 4:30 in the morning 6 days a week. I had a good number of clients but I was sacrificing my sleep. This lack of sleep filtered down throughout the rest of my life.
So why do I mention this to you?
I'm always preaching the basics. Train hard, eat clean, and get enough sleep and recovery...but I wasn't taking my own advice.
Well after that trip to San Francisco I dropped those early morning clients...and I feel fantastic.
So if you are in the same situation and not getting enough sleep, I encourage you to make the necessary changes.
We just dropped off my kids as they are off to Brazil for the summer. Two months with family in Sao Paulo and Rio.
What My Client's 8 Year Old Thinks About Exercise
I've posted a great crayon drawing done by the son of one of my one-on-one clients. Please check it out here.
Avoid Fitnes Hype if You Really Want To Change Your Body
So much of what I see in the fitness world is hype.
- Do this program and you'll get sexy abs.
- Trim Your Trouble Zone in 3 Minutes
You know...I could go on and on.
If it was really this easy everyone would have tight, lean bodies.
So what does it really take?
Think of an Olympic athlete. He or she is competing against the best in the world. Do you think they can "choose" to eat poorly or skip training. Not if they want to win. They must show up and give their 100% each and every minute of their training.
Now I realize you may be saying, "well I'm no Olympic athlete so I can miss a few sessions, or have that extra dessert." Oh really.
Those missed sessions accumulate, and those desserts add up...and what do you have? A fat and lethargic life.
Don't you want to live life at it's highest?
Get focused, train consistently. You deserve it. Your family deserves it. Don't miss out on what this world has to offer. Only you can do this.
Here's an inspiring video to get you going.
